Can an existing member of the society ask for the detail of qualification, eligibility etc of the new members which has been admitted into the society by following complete procedure. Can society refuse to provide information? if the information is not provided by the society what remedey the member has? I am asking on behalf of the society.

sir, new members are more than 1000.

Society is expected to give all such details to the registerar who is a public officer liable under RTI ACT.

RTI is applicable to Society, if such informations are obtained by the Society they must provide to the information soughter.
