Dear All, as per the above mentioned subject can anyone please guide me through this case. I have a friend in Assam and his father has gifted his total property (approx value 2 Crores) to some other person on 1 Re. stamp paper (each page, total value 21 Rs) in 2008. & the lawyer's over there say that it's perfect, but still we have some doubt! can anyone please help!
1.if with sub-registrar and it is sale deed, then 100% ok!
2.if notary, not valid.
If option 1 is right then it is very strange that Sale deed was registered only on paying stamp duty rs.21 and property value is 2 cr.

If the transfer is registered by paying the requisite stamp duty then you can do nothing. Only the unregistered transfer deed would enetitle to lay your claim on it.
