91 crpc, any particular stage at which it is applicable?

Hi,

In a summary triable case u/s 260 CrPC, at which stage crpc 91 can be filed to summon documents necessary for defense, before discharge or when you have filed dicharge.

you can file an application u/s 91 after framing charges.

In summary trial charge is not framed. Trial begins after Plea u/s251 Cr.P.C. You can ask for production of documents at the time of cross-examination u/s 254(2)Cr. P.C or at the time of defence evidence.
