Change of father's name in 10th,12th n graduation marksheet

Sir,
My father's name as mentioned in my 10th,12th and graduation marksheet is Anil jain, but his name in all legal documents is Anil kumar jain.
now dis discrepancy is causing a problem in my passport.Sir i want my father's name to be as it is in all legal problems.
can this be done by gazette notification???
if not by gazette notification then how??
please help...!!!

I think this can be done by giving an affidavit.

yes you can by change through affidavit, more .What name is in your birth certificate.

There is no need for Gazette notification merely correction in name.

Write an Application to concern Authority with support of affidavit as advised.
