JOB PROPOSAL CHANGE

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 30 June 2011 This query is : Resolved
DEAR SIR,

MY FRIEND FIRST GOT A JOB IN BANGALORE AND GOT THE OFFER LETTER. BUT TILL NOW HE HAS NOT JOINED. STILL HE TRIED TO FIND JOB IN ABROAD. NOW HE GOT THE JOB IN ABROAD. THE SALARY PACKAGE IS BETTER THAN THE LOCAL JOB. SINCE HE HAS NOT JOINED TIL NOW FOR THE LOCAL JOB, HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO DECLARE TO THE LOCAL COMPANY. HE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHETHER THE LOCAL COMPANY WILL ACCEPT IF HE DOES NOT JOIN OR WILL THEY MAKE ANY ISSUES ON IT. PLEASE ADVISE SIR.

There is no need to even contact the local company.

If your friend has signed the acceptance and handed it to the company then he is liable for any damages that may be claimed by the company, if not there is no valid contract and he is absolved from any liability.
