Former Telecom Minister A Raja, arrested for his alleged role in 2G Spectrum allocation scam, was sent to Tihar Jail by a Delhi court on Thursday under 14-days' judicial custody. But my understanding judicial custody means not in jail in short can we say that that he is tihar jail means police custody? What actually police custody means in jail where police authority sites or where there is a police station in which jail is in built?

Difference between police custody & judicial custody?
