dear friend, the Hon'ble Courts in India have largely flouted the interpretation given in the said judgment.

anyhow, there is a latest judgment by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India titled as

Siddharam Satlingappa Mhetre

versus

State of Maharashtra and others

Criminal Appeal No. 2271 of 2010 decided on 02.12.2010

the judgment I have mentioned gives a better interpretation to the laws regarding Anticipatory Bail, the Gurbakash Singh Sibia judgment has been considered therein.
