Rent for Pagadi property tenant

I am a tenant in a disputed pagadi property, the owners are fighting a legal battle within themselves for ownership of the land. How and whom do I pay the rent. Also I want to repair the room but one of them is saying a no to it and asking to pay him rent. Please advice

File a case for deposit of rent. Get the court order for permission to do the repair works at the cost of the land owners. The cost can be deducted from the monthly rent.
