Certain details are not provided in ur query. Whethr A executed any will under which he bequeathed the amounts to B? Or B has been nominated in the insurance and the psot Office deposit A/C. In the absence of the above B could not have received the amounts from the concerned authorities. If B has received the amounts as nominee of A, you have right to demand your share from B. However if B realised the amounts under the will of A as sole beneficiary, then u may not have any right to claim the amounts. You can call for the details from the Post Office and the LIC under the RTI Act.You need not enclose any documents to get the details.
