I purchased my apartment in Bangalore around 7 months back.
The seller had refused to sell the Parking space along with the apartment, citing having two cars to park as the reason. Seller also communicated that in a eventuality that he has to sell the parking space, it would be sold to me for a fixed amount for 1.5 lakh.
What is the process/legal modalities to purchase only the parking space ?

YOU MAY KINDLY REFER THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE ORIGINAL AGREEMENT OF THE PERSON WITH THE BUILDER WHO SOLD THE SAID PREMICES TO YOU.THEN YOU ALSO REFER YOUR AGREEMENT WITH THE SAID PERSON.YOU MAY ALSO REFER THE CONCERNED HOUSING SOCIETY REGARDING THE CAR PARKING SPACE. KINDLY NOTE THAT THE SAID COMMON PLACE IS UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE SOCIETY AND SOCIETY CHARGES SOME AMOUNT FOR PARKING SPACE OF MEMBERS.IT CAN NOT BE SOLD BY ANY ONE.IT IS RESERVED FOR OWNER OF PARTICULAR FLAT.AND HENCE YOU NEED NOT MAKE ANY ADDITIONAL PAYMENT TO SAID PERSON WHO WANTS TO RESERVE TWO CARPARKING ILLEGALY.YOU MAY REFER THE MATTER TO SOCIETY AND INSIST FOR CAR PARKING SPACE RESERVED FOR YOUR FLAT.GOOD LUCK.

Please refer your agreement. In general, It is his (Seller's) right to sell the car park to any body for a consideration amount.
