Caste Certificate

I am in possession of MBC (Caste Vannar) certificate issued by the state Government of Tamil Nadu. I was born and brought up in Delhi and also completed my education, etc., in Delhi only. The concern is that the employment exchange office of Delhi refused to accept this caste certificate and asked me to get the certificate from Delhi only. I would like to seek your advice, whether I can issue OBC certificate from Delhi, even if I am in possession of MBC certificate issued from Tamilnadu.

The problem is that the caste hierarchy is not uniform throughout India. It varies from State to State . A SC or OBC of one State may be a high caste in another State. U are advised to check the Rules at Delhi & act accordingly.

unless your caste falls in the OBC list of the concerned state,you will not get the benefit.

Let me clarify further, my caste viz Vannar (Washer man) falls under the category of most backward class in Tamil Nadu, but the caste certificate for the same is not being accepted by any authority in Delhi.
I want to issue fresh OBC certificate from Delhi Government by surrendering my old MBC certificate. Is it possible?
