Her husband is not an advocate that he can appear on behalf of his wife, he can appear before the court as a party in person but until and unless he is authorised by a special power of attorney to represent her and handle her cae, he may not be permitted to appear and conduct the case on her behalf.

I concur with the experts. If husband is not an advocate-on-record he will not be permitted by Supreme Court since either the petitioner/respondent him/her self or through lawyer can appear and plead.
