Sir which authority in my state should i approach to know whether a particular agriculture land is rural as per income tax act??(j&k state)

In Every State the Local Revenue Authority will certify that the land is Agricultural land and located in their Jurisdiction and Certify that usage is Agriculture , the Nature of Rural Agricultural Land depends on its lcoation . Rural / or urabn

You please consult the concerned Circle Officer under your district who can give you the certificate to the effect of nature of land.
