cliaming maintenance by widowed daughter-in-law

I want to know whether a Muslim widowed can claim maintenance against her father-in-law under Sec-125 of CrPC.
I also want to know whether she has any other recourse to sue her father-in-law.

a muslim daughter-in-law can file criminal proceeding or a case under domestic violence act in which she can claim maintainance and protection against unlawful eviction etc.
