A partition suit dismissed in the lower court. Parites appealed in the madurai bench of madras high court.

For more than 6 years the case is not listed.

Is there any leagal way to hasten the process.

you can move an application for early hearing, citing some reason for urgency.

take advice of ur counsel who will draft petition keeping in view the facts of the case.

u can mention in court hall at the begging by a court slip or u can write a letter to registrar concern explaining the URGENCY through ur counsel.

Better to file an application for fixing a date for final hearing, but mostly judges are interested to conduct Appeals from LAOP cases before the Madurai Bench.

Even for numbering that application you need to mention. Better to get slip and number the case
