MITAKSHARA BRANCH OF HINDU LAW!

Dear All,

I WANT TO KNOW AS TO WHETHER FOR THE PURPOSES OF DISTINGUISHING AN INDIVIDUAL AS KARTA OF A FAMILY A CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY REVENUE OFFICE (OFFICE OF EXECUTIVE MAGISTRATE) CAN SUFFICE.

Yes. It can suffice but in Hindu families no certificate is required for Karta rather it is the oral evidence even which is suffice even.

Do some brainstorming and do let me know why and how the Mitakshara Certificate is issued/procured?

Well, I have not heard that such a cert.could be issued by the Executive Magistrate. Heir cert.is issued by EM after due enquiry if asked,but not to dedcide Karta of family.
