Marriage registration

Dear Sir
I would like to know the steps involved in registration of marriage and the documents which I would require for the same.
Kindly advice me on the same.

Within 3/4 days of marriage, it should be got registered.

Obtain marriage card, 2 witnesses from each side (total 4), photographs of marriage numbering 2, age proofs of both, residential proof of both bride and bride groom and affidavits in support of performing their marriage. It is generally gets registration on the same day of moving an application.

If given Prior notice registrar of marriage will register the marriage at u r marriage Hall itself,Rest i agree with Mr.Rajkumar
