That restaurant was booked for wedding anniversary for about 50 persons @ 900/- per head which included welcome drinks and snacks and main course menu lunch. That snacks were only kept for one hour due to which many members were left unserved and soon after lunch started and as the restaurant manager gave total of only 4 hours and many members got disappointed as it was very embarassing. Please advise if case can be filed before consumer court as proper bill with gst is available as an evidence.

If you booked it for more than 4 hours, the restaurant manager should not tell you to vacate it before the time. Usually, the welcome drinks and snacks will be supplied few hours only, but on what terms/conditions you book it? If the restaurant manager acted against the terms/conditions, you can very well file a consumer petition against him.

The terms and conditions or the agreement in this regard is the essential material to decide about further action to be pursued to get your grievances redressed.
Your allegations against the restaurant is very bald, hence if at all you really have any problem, consult a local advocate and proceed legally against the restaurant, if recommended.
