Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 12 June 2025 This query is : Resolved
Learned sirs,
A civil case is in final stage and orders are to be passed after cross examination of the defendant. The judge has been transferred. Evidence has been submitted by both plaintiff and defendant.

What happens now... The new judge will not have idea about the case
kavksatyanarayana Online (Expert) 12 June 2025
The new Judge will verify the case files.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 13 June 2025
You have stated that the evidence of both sides are completed but arguments have not been completed.
If the judge has been transferred a new judge replacing the previous judge will handle and take proper care of the cases, you need not be worried about it.
Dr. J C Vashista (Expert) 13 June 2025
Transfer of judges is a routine exercise like game of musical chair. No one should except the judge conducted evidence shall pass final order / judgment. New incumbant judge shall continue proceeding where his/her predecessor has left your suit.
Advocate Bhartesh goyal (Expert) 13 June 2025
If both the parties ha presented their evidence (oral & documentary) then new judge will proceed for next step which is final argument of case.
