How to get details of the remaining property of an individual after his demise & which revenue department should be approached ..
What is the procedure, steps to be taken for a certified copy of a registered " will ".

You can engage the services of an advocate and submit an application for title search before the concerned registrar office and try to get the details of the property on the name of the deceased person.
You can visit the concerned Tahsildar office and submit an application to furnish the land records of the deceased by following the procedures.
If you are one of the legal heirs then you can apply for certified copy of the registered Will.

To get a registered Will copy, you have to apply to the Sub Registrar where the Will was registered with a copy of the deceased person's death certificate. Then only the will copy will be granted. For a legal heir certificate, you have to apply to the Tahsildar concerned.
