3)suppose my annual salary is 3 lakh and my brother gives me 10 lakh then what is my gross annual income for the puropse of ews
Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the eligibility criteria for EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) reservation, specifically addressing whether provident fund (PF) received after retirement counts as family income. It also delves into the definition of 'gross annual income' for EWS purposes, distinguishing between accumulated wealth and yearly earnings. The advice given is to proceed with caution and ensure all relevant income details are accurately declared to avoid potential issues with the application.

From the details of income of different members of your family as well as your own income it can be seen that you are eligible for EWS privilege or concession.

Sir please reply whether income from provident fund received after retirement is counted or not after retirement in income criteria

It is also an income of the family member hence why should it be excluded and what is the basis for removing it from the income category.

It is accumulated income not yearly income. It is income of many years you did service. So i think it should be not included in gross income. Because it is not income of that year only. Please clarify. I am talking about in the context of ews reservation
