Intimation regarding continuation of studies

(Querist) 06 August 2024 This query is : Resolved
Sir
I had been enrolled in graduation course when i joined my service which was a distance course. I intimated my principal regarding that but he did not sign my application nor given me a objection letter. When i asked him to add my degree after completion of course in my service record he refused. What to do now?
Quick Summary
An individual enrolled in a distance learning degree course while in service, but their principal did not formally approve the application. Now that the course is complete, the employer is refusing to add the degree to the service record. The consensus is that without prior written permission, the employer is not obligated to recognise the qualification, and the individual lacks proof of seeking approval.

You cannot force the employer to add your higher education to your service records if you have not obtained permission to pursue your higher education.
You do not have any proof to prove that you sought their permission, hence you cannot simply agitate over it

Why did you join the course without getting permission from your employer which is a must, hence, it will not be considered.

"When i asked him to add my degree after completion of course in my service record he refused." What is the objective in adding the qualification to the service record?
