A contractor made evasion VAT 12 lakhs to tamilnadu State govt, by furnishing forged documents as signed by commercial tax officers.This is has been found through RTI documents. What will be the legal proceedings against the contractor.

Sir,

Forgery and cheating criminal case and at the same time you can intimate the VAT department regarding the evasion and get the demand raised accordingly.

Lodge complaint with the higher officer of the concerned department and to the vigilance department of the state.
