Call records

(Querist) 11 October 2015 This query is : Resolved
Hi Experts,

I received messages from Airtel stating that my ebill is sent to another email address. The ebill was sent from Aug'14 to June'15. I called Airtel and they told me that there were several calls made to modify your phone details such as email address and also asked to email the ebill. Later, they also provided me with the phone no. which called to get the changes done. It belongs to my brother's wife.

He was married in Nov'13 but she was always after money and also used to harass my family members. My brother filed a divorce case in Jan'14. she left home and later filed 498a+377 and many more against my brother and family members.

The case is still going on but now as she has all of my phone records accessed in an illegal way, can I file a complaint against this???? Please suggest

Just because the phone belongs to her does not mean that it was only she who made these things.

There are lots of ifs and buts. It is very difficult to prove. Assume for a while I (your sister in law) say that you borrowed her phone to make some phone calls - probably use used her telephone to make changes to falsely implicate her!

Therefore, don't try to stretch things beyond a point. These may be temporary points, may not lead to any conclusion or finality.

By the way why did take so long (about a year) to approach Airtel to know about these changes!

I will not advice you proceed with your plan.

Needless to say, you may await the views of other experts here.

The thing is that my information with airtel was updated recently i.e. in the month of July'15 and all the ebills were sent at that point of time and also my sister in law is not staying at our home (with in laws) since Feb'14 and there is no talking terms between them and us.

It is you who said: "I received messages from Airtel stating that my ebill is sent to another email address. The ebill was sent from Aug'14 to June'15."

Now you say that the information was updated in the month of July 15.

In any case, my overall answer stands. By these small things you cannot make out anything. If you want, better change the email-address to which the ebill has to be sent hence forth.

Exactly I said this that "the ebill was sent from Aug'14 to June'15".
This was done after the email was changed in July'15. There is a process where you can request previous ebills as well and that is what was done.
