Workmen Compensatio Claim

Dear Sir
My question is a person working as cleaner in a lorry crossed the road wto purchase ciagreate. He was hit by an unknown vhicle and he died on the spot. Whether he can claim the compension from the lorry owner unde WC act. Whether it is within scope of employment or out of scope of employment.

The legal heirs of such cleaner are definitely entitled to make claim under workman Compensation act against the lorry owner and such accident shall be treated as out of and in the course of employment.
