My name is deepjot singh. I got your mail id from lawyers club india .actually I have changed my name from Deepak to deepjot. In my all documents my name has changed its Deepjot Singh. But in my educational documents its Deepak. Now I want to go abroad So problem is that I want to apply passport with the name DEEPJOT SINGH. Is it possible and will it create any problem if I apply for E PASS (employment pass) In abroad now I want to know that can its necessary to change name in certificate also? Or its possible ? sir I am very upset so kindly tell me whole process. I will be highly thankful to you for this act

Yes you can change.
Execute an affidavit, get is published in two newspapers (English and local language) followed by gazzettee publication

As advised by Dr. Vashista, get it published in a newspaper and also through the State Government gazette notification, carry a copy while applying for passport.

Sir I already published in news paper now please tell me how can I apply in government gazette for name changing?? actually sir I want to know that if I changed my name that will it create any problem if I apply for E PASS (employment pass) In abroad. ? because I want to go abroad but I am very confuse to think that. and how can I change name in educational documents??

As regards your query, " In abroad now I want to know that can its necessary to change name in certificate also? Or its possible ?",it is clarified that name cannot be changed in your certificates. It is not possible. But such no change will also not affect your employment in any way.

dear kumar sir very thanks for a valueable reply can you please tell me how can I apply for Govt. gazette? and will this gazette notification is valid in abroad also? and sir one more question after Govt gazette publication can I continue my future study with my new name???

Kumar sir thanks again for reply sir please suggest me my father name is Gur Saroop Singh. but in my educational certificate his name spelling is Gur Swaroop. so kindly suggest me what will I published in gazzete with my name Deepjot Singh S/o sh ....?, corret spelling (Gur Saroop)or according to educational certificate Gur Swaroop ????? please suggest
