I am staying at worli area on pagadi system . i am staying there since 1972 and paying monthly rent by cheque. The room in which am staying is in name of pvt company in which i was previously working . at present the company is liquidated .
1)please guide me whether i can transfer the pagadi in my name with consultation of land lord.?
2)at the time of transfer is it necessary to pay stamp duty at the time of registration ?

when was the company liquidated? was official liquidator appointed by the high court? what are the liabilities of the said company ?
