Transmission of house property

The House property is in the name of my mother and aunt I am lonely daughter ,my aunt by her will (notarized ) given me her share.Now The Question is that can I transmit the property in my name ? Further how to and where this to be recorded so that in future I can sell it ? My Aunt had one more brother can he claim on my right ?

obtain probate of the will to safegauard your self . ou ahve not mentioned where you are located .

in mumbai probate would be required .

you can make application for mutation of your aunt share in the property in your name based on the will .
