Unregistered will

(Querist) 22 September 2012 This query is : Resolved 
My grandpa's will is unregistered, now we have to transfer our residence building in name of my father and uncle.
In the will there were two witnesses and one of them is no more now.
please suggest how to proceed further.
Is it neccessary to acquire PROBATE? or can we register the will or any other way is there.

yes, take probate from court.
