(Querist) 15 July 2012 This query is : Resolved 
That in contempt proceeding U/O39. R 2-A CPC RMJC proceeding the Applicant had filed the document issued by the Municipal Authority, which is exhibited by Court, without calling the person who issued that document.

Whether the non-applicant had right to cross-examine him by calling in witness box for rebuttal purpose.

If yes then provides the provisions and relevant case laws.

Yes, u can call him as witness and X him as per provisions of Sections 137 and 139 of The Indian Evidence Act.
