Appearance without vakaltnama

Can an advocate appear before court on behalf of contemnors without any Vakaltnama or reply filed by the Contemnors. If any advocate/ counsel had done so what action court can take against him ?

lawyer must have given a undertaking to file vaklatanma . the said undertaking is accepted by court . if he does not file vakalatnam on next date raise objection to his appearance .
