is one time alimony granted to wife at divorce returnable to husband after wife's remarriage? thanks in advance regards ashok

Alimony is a monetary arrangement given to a spouse who has no source of livelihood.One she remarries she will be under the care of he new husband and hence the alimony being paid by the first husband is stoped.Even onetime settlement made or part of the property given can be reverted back.Hence file a case under section 127crpc.
