Sir/Madam,
My father had taken a flat on tenancy basis 30 years ago in Mumbai.An agreement was made between the owner and my father then. A case was filed in the court and since 25 years we are fighting the case. We have won the trial court order. Now the case is in High Court. I have 2 questions :-
1) Can the case be transferred on my name as my father is the original tenant??
2) Can we go in for a settlement for the same. And if yes what would be the way I can get the flat settled.

your case may be pending before high court. but whats the need to change in to your name? because in civil matters before high court parties appearance not necessary.
in case if your father expired in the mean time before disposal you will be implead as the concern party.
