This cannot be done in already issued certificate.

You can rectify the change by publishing the rectification of name in official gazette of state of Karnataka.

Dear Deepak,
I got info that we can get new marks card by applying to concerned Board and attaching letters from schools where we studied 10th and 12th. And concerned authority will issue new marks card having correct name.

And if we publish the rectification of name in official gazette of state of Karnataka it is same as change of name. Right?

There are two options, as follows:

1) Apply to the Board of concerned Examination Board along with original Birth Certificate for change of name and issue of fresh duplicate certificates, according to the name noted therein, by cancellation of the original ones.

2) Notify change of name through the Gazette of State or Gazette of India and always attach copy of the same along with the 10th/12th certificates wherever you apply by attaching the Marks certificates.
