Kindly provide me the supreme court of india judgement where length of service in fixation of seniority can not be ignored for the same post.

I urgently need the case judgments to defend my case in Punjab & Haryana High Court.

length of service can be ignored if it is ad-hoc.

it can also be ignored if the junior in merit list joins earlier than senior.
