Paying guets

Can a co-operative society ask a member to not keep paying guests? Our housing society is in ahmedabad.

My society has made a rule that flats cannot be given on rent to bachelors, can they do such a thing , is it legal?
Also, My society charges 800 for s.o, 1200 from flats rented and 1600 from flats which are rented to students. Can they keep 3 diff maintanence charges like this.

Also, what about the rule of max 10 % non-occupancy charges according to the co-op housing soc act?

The housing society can collect charges depending upon the size of the occupants. They can dictate the terms regarding the tenancy.

if the rules and regulations accepted by majority of the flat owners then you cannot disobeyed the society act and the rules and regulations mentioned therein
