a registred Varad housing co-op society at ........ having 12 flat holders, in Maharashtra. intreasted to sale all the 12 flats to the BABA KAR individual.
Q. where one registred housing society can sell the all the flats to the one person.
Q. der is need to take the permission of anyone.

The Society can sell all the flats of the society (together with land) after passing a Special resolution in the special General Body Meeting. The sale can be in favor of one individual or group of individuals or a body corporate. The sale does not require any permission form the Regtistrar.While taking such a decision it would also be necessary for the General Body to decide on the manner in which the sale proceeds have to be utilised / distrbuted amongst the Memebrs of the Society or utilised in the purchase of another property etc. In case it is decided that the proceeds should not be used in the acquisiton of new propety, but distributed in whole amongst the Members, then the Society may have to decide on the winding up of the Society also.
