Payment of gratuity is applicable to private/non-aided recognised school in Andhra Pradesh.

The Payment of Gratuity (Amendment) Act 2009 bringing teachers into the ambit for receiving gratuity has been notified vide Gazzette of India Ext.Pt. II Sec.1 dated 31.12.2009 and the same has come into force.

Yes. It is applicable to private schools also.

yes, it is applicable. the amendment of 2010 has brought the private educational institutions within the ambit of PGA.

Yes after five years of continuous service you are eligible for gratuity under formula (Salary*completed years of service*15)/26
