Applicaion for Passport

sir,
I have applied for passport but when I cheked the status in passport site it shows that "Police Report is incomplete and the case is being examined". I have also visited to police Station to produce my Voter Identity Card and certificates. Kindly suggest me how I will do to get the passport without any difficulty.

Police report is mandatory. Without it you cannot do anything. Therefore you approach the police department and make request to send their report early.That will suffice.

It is usually the District Intelligence Branch which sends PR. to the passport dept. and not the local PS. Pl. verify.
In your case, the PR is incomplete & has not been dismissed. However, U may apply to the dept. seeking information under RTI Act.
Finally ,if everything fails, U may move the HC under Art. 226 of the Constitution of India for redress.
