What does r.d.o stand for?

i presume r.d.o. stands for the revenue divisional officer in tamilnadu. obviouly the author belongs to tamilnadu,i suppose. the answer is no. the r.d.o. is a revenue authority who cannot adjudicate upon the title of the rival claimants over the property. see decisions of division bench of madras high court in 1995 volume 1 madras law journal page 426 and 2004 volume 1 current tamilnadu cases page 136. only a civil court can do it.
