Kindly let me know under which provision i can move a petition before Sessions court seeking directions for protection of lives and liberty for newly married couple(Intercaste Marriage)

You can file writ petition at High court under art 226 or directly Supreme court under Art 32 of the constitution of India.

Sessions court does not have such remedy.

you can aproach the high court under sec.482 cr.p.c. also.

I simply filed a petition for direction without quoting anyection or provision and succeeded in obtaining protection order from sessions court,any how Thankyou very much to all of you.
