Is any limit period for 498a to be filed as 1 year null & void case going on in court

can a lady filed 498a as the boy filed null & void case in family court & 2 date for counselling has been passed but the girl not apperaed since 1 year case is going on

Such case would obviously be very feeble, but there is no embargo on filing a 498A case after one year, though as per provisions of limitation the judge cannot take cognizance of a 498a case after 3 years of the alleged offence.
