Sir I have changed my father name bcoze that's wrong put on primary register .school .. after 12 th I have changed name Govind RAMBHAU Rathod to Govind rajebhau Rathod .... After 12 th I got gazzet copy and I have changed after 12 th .. college LC and certificates name in pune university now my all docoments after 12th Govind rajebhau Rathod on certificate ... But 1 to 12 th name on school board certificates Govind RAMBHAU Rathod ............ Any problems comes to me sir .... That situvation ......my name changed after 12 th so any problem to me in future bcoze I m preparation of civil services

our Father's name change from 1st to 12 th standard you can change in the following way.
There is a 3 step procedure. !) Notarized Affidavit
2)Publication of ad in News paper
3) Publication in Official Gazette.

1. Since you have changed the name, by following due procedure of law, via a Govt. Gazete, only after 12 class, YOUR earlier name upto 12 class, shall remain the same and CANNOT be changed on the relevant records, under any circumstances.

2. You can legally continue to use your new name without any further reference to your old records and there shall be no problem, till you are holding the Govt. Gazzete.

What Ms. Usha Kapoor has suggested is utter non-sense. She is dishing out such answers whether or not the same is correct. More over, the suggested steps are for changing one's own name and not for change of Father's name! Even the procedure is only for name change. It is not for changing name in the already issued Certificates!
She never tries to learn from her mistakes and never tries to correct herself.

The effect of change in name takes place from the date of gaztte notification. Wherever you submit documents submit a copy of gaztte notification also.
School records remain the same.
