Hi,
I got selected for one of the public sector banks as a clerk a few months back...
And I'm working now...
Thing is..I had a criminal case background approximately 10 years back..and acquitted...
At the time of application or at the time of interview or at any stage of the selection process I didn't mentioned this...
Now I'm suffering a lot from mental tension...I'm in probation period now...
Will this effect my job now..?
Please kindly give ur valuable answers...
Thanks in advance...

Had they asked these particulars (of the past criminal case, if any) at any of these stages and had you furnished any false information or suppressed any material facts?

Has anything come in the notice of the Bank or have they asked anything from you?
Do not disclose it at this stage till anything is asked ? You were acquitted.
Do not repeat mistake which you have done by not disclosing previously.

Had the bank asked to furnish information relating pending or finalised criminal cases and you suppressed it, then it will be a problem for you.

This matter is reported to have occurred around 10 years ago, the verification of character and antecedents are generally done for the past five years only.
Moreover yo have been acquitted in the case hence there wont be much impact even if you have revealed this information because it is not having any adverse effect on your employment.
