Property distribution

Iam a Muslim. My father is having one legally wedded wife and two sons including me. My father has a another illegally wife and two sons.Now my query is can my father distribute the property to illegal wife and their sons.if so what steps should be taken to avoid this. Can my mother or me can ask for property distribution. What rights does my mother or me posses to avoid property distribution to others.

Sir,

Your father may have the right to have 4 wives as per Muslim local law, then how can you claim his second wife to be a illegal wife.

I feel the property be distributed to both the wife's and accordingly be distributed.

Yes he can give his property to her also.

Your father can distribute property at his discretion. You cannot prevent.
