hello experts, my query is i want to know that as per new rules framed by govt about TDS, if a person possess TDS no., is he liable to file NIL return whether there is no deduction at source in the quarter.
plz reply as early as possible.

I dont know whether its mandatory or not but department sends letter for not filing returns and hence w use to file NIL returns.

Dear Anil

As per the provisions of the I T Act, you have an obligation to file nil return even if you have no deductions made for the year
