dear sir,
my query is about charges debited by axis bank ltd. in my cash credit loan a/c.
on 22.06.2010 bank sanctioned a cc limit of Rs.30 lacs taking adequet security. Bank started transaction in this a/c on 29.07.2010 . This sanction was for 12 months. bank debited a charge as cash deposited charges on monthly basis which was not applicable to our a/c as per bank's internal approval system but it was not written in the sanction letter.after 12 months i have submitted my all documents for renewal of my a/c as demanded by bank but bank did not renew my a/c for next 6 months, telling that our officers are busy in another work and it will be done shortly. now bank has reversed cash deposit charges for 12 months and tellig about there inability of reversing charges for next 6 months. but in the mean time bank did not give any information about the charges which are not being reversed on the completion of 12 months. the offocers always assured me that all the charges will be reversed but now they have changed their words.please note that i have never requested the bank (in written) to run my a/c after 12 months of time completed.
now what should i do. please help..

close your account with bank . has bank gven any written assurance of waiving off charges thenif bank has filed to do so move ombdusman .

This conduct from the bank obviously amounts to deficiency in service and unfair trade practice. You need to send a notice to the bank through a lawyer, and thereafter proceed further by filing a complaint in the consumer forum.

Did you explained to the head of branch inpersonaly. If not then do it first. As per request they accepted and reversed one year charge. So write a detailed letter and hand over it personally and get acknoledgement. If they fail to do with in breathing pperiod then send notice
