company want to move technical to non technical dept

I am working in MNC insurance company last 2 year as a Sr. Executive- IT Infrastructure, now company want to changed my job Profile to technical to non technical dept. without any discussion. I have six year experience in IT Support now suddenly company changed my job profile hence our IT career was end now.
Company is doing the same is right ???
In that case what is option are available for us??? How can I have save our job or career?

you would be signing a contract of employment with your MNC company. Kindly go through it, if there is clause stating this issue and it is in your favour, you can approach an advocate to save your job and career.

However all terms of employment always refers to utilisation of the services of employees for companies exigencies and subject to availability of project tasks, etc. No employee can claim his designated job based on qualification, experience, specialization, etc Even high profile techies are employed in nationalized banks where the nature of job would never match throughout his services.
