what remedy available if illegal detained by police whole night to a advocate.
though FIR lodged by process of 156(3) but no progresss shown by police since more than 3 years passed.
Any remedy to get compensation available
under civil or criminal law.
what action against those office who not shown interest to end their investigation.

If an accused, even though he may be an advocate by his profession, has been arrested and has been kept behind bars before his production to trial magistrate then it is not an illegal act on the part of police and no question of compensation arises otherwise if illegal detension has been made then law is very tough. Various High Courts have taken strong attitude towards police officials in such matter wherein freedom of life has illegally been withheld by police officials. You may directly go to High Court in such matter.
