I want to transfer house to my mother name

Hi

I want to transfer house to my mother name so my wife can not claim anyting in house. Should I do gift deed or release deed or relinquish deed.

If it is solely in your name then, you can execute a gift deed.
If it is a joint property standing in the name of you and your mother then you can go for either of the option.

release deed and relinqueshment deed are same. but in gift deed stamp duty may be lessor than release deed... as acording to rajasthan state. stamp duty may very from state to state

You can also do with registering a settlement deed which costs less..
